Yew, pebble shaped hollow form with teardrop shaped orifice.
Yew is very slow growing, resulting in a hard, close grained wood with striking grain patterns. This beautiful piece of yew has warm and comforting sandy, caramel and coffee tones, the pebble shape makes it extremely tactile. The top of the hollowform has been decorated with six concentric rings, highlighted by burning. It features a teardrop shape orifice that partly intersects the concentric rings.
The piece is sealed with Danish Oil and finished with Carnauba wax.
