Shipping
Please read this policy in conjunction with the Delivery Section (8) and (for those outwith the UK) Foreign Taxes and Duties Section (12) of our Terms and Conditions. These times do not apply to the order of Specified Goods (i.e. bespoke or personalised orders).
Order Processing Times
We will aim to process your order within 1 working day. Due to our remote location and distance from the Post Office, and our desire to reduce our carbon emissions, we will use the Royal Mail Parcel Collect service and we will be responsible for this cost. Please be aware that using this service adds an extra working day to Royal Mail aims and guarantees. If you require your items urgently then please contact us and we will see if we are able to accommodate your request.
We will send you a confirmation email when your order has been dispatched.
Shipping Costs and Times
For local addresses, free delivery is available and should come up as an option at the checkout.
UK Shipping
All our goods are shipped via Royal Mail. We charge a standard shipping rate and we choose the most suitable postage option based on the weight and value of your order. In some instances the postage cost may be more than the shipping rate charged, these extra costs will be covered by us. The exception to this is if you have contacted us, specifically requesting a quicker processing and delivery time, in which case an extra postage/processing fee may be required. We don't offer a next day delivery option as standard as we currently use Royal Mail Parcel Collect and this adds an extra working day to Royal Mail delivery aims and guarantees.
An estimated arrival date of your parcel will be shown at the checkout, prior to payment processing.
If you have not received your order within 10 working days after your due date, please contact us at help@woodyness.co.uk and we will work to resolve the issue.
International Shipping (excluding North America, Canada* & EU**)
All our goods are shipped internationally via Royal Mail International Tracked. Postage costs will be calculated automatically at the checkout according to weight of the parcel and Royal Mail fees.
IMPORTANT NOTE – parcels being sent outwith the UK are shipped Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU), therefore it is the responsibility of the recipient to pay any taxes/duties/clearance fees that may be applicable in the destined country. Please refer to the Foreign Taxes and Duties Section (12) of our Terms and Conditions.
An estimated arrival date of your parcel will be shown at the checkout, prior to payment processing. Royal Mail International Tracked aims to deliver worldwide in 5-7 working days plus an extra working day for Royal Mail Parcel Collect.
If you have not received your order within 25 working days after your due date (following Royal Mail guidance), please contact us at help@woodyness.co.uk and we will work to resolve the issue.
* Regrettably, we are currently unable to cover the insurance costs involved with exporting to the USA & Canada.
** Regrettably, the ever increasing costs involved with sending parcels to the EU, no longer allow this to be a viable option.
