Large two-tone ash platter with hand-pyrographed Camels.
When this platter was turned the most incredible grain pattern and colours were revealed. They were reminiscent of desert sand dunes. There is a natural reddish hue across the horizon, looking like heat haze from the sun, possibly mixed with the colours of a distant sand storm. This natural scene has been brought to life by Woody's addition of three pyrographed camels and their human companions.
The platter is sat on a foot and the outside has a gentle curve leading to straight sides and a narrow rim.
