Nostepinnes are portable yarn winders used to wind yarn into centre-pull balls. Turned from various native woods. The handles are all shaped slightly differently but with function in mind. With the exception of the elm nostepinne, three different sized grooves sit between the handle and the pin, to secure your yarn at the start of the winding process. Use the appropriate size groove for your yarn weight.
