Large flamed beech bowl with an extra wide rim, decorated with a geometric design in purple and gold.
The wide rim of this striking flamed beech platter has a hand-carved relief geometric design, highlighted with pyrography and coloured with gold and purple ink. The transparency of the ink allows the natural flame grain to show through. The areas of relief between the geometric blades feature hand-carved texturing detail. The central bowl and the underside of the platter have been left natural to show off the natural beauty of the wood.
Finished with a satin lacquer to impart protection and a soft sheen.
