This modified ogee shaped bowl is thick-walled and broad rimmed. The rim has been decorated with green, honey, burnt orange and plum intrinsic staining, representing the transition from the greens and browns of the earth to the darkening of sky at dusk. Two grooves have been cut in the rim, one to the outer edge and one to the inner. The rest of the bowl is decorated with the wood's own fantastic grain pattern.
The whole piece has been finished with Danish Oil.
