Deep oak pot/vessel, scorched, live-edge rim decorated with bronze and copper metal effect paint.
Frankenpot - resurrected from a monstrous oak log crotch piece. The misshapen pot sits on a small foot. It has been scorched on the outside to give a striking blackened finish which contrasts well with the natural colour on the inside. The large splits in the wood are like gaping scars that have been stapled together with copper wire. The live edge rim has been aged with a coating of bronze and copper metal reactive paints.
Finished with Danish Oil and Carnauba Wax. The rim has been finished with lacquer to seal and protect the paint.
