Large wooden bowl turned from birch and decorated with metal-effect paint.
This substantial birch bowl has an incurved profile, topped with an incurved rim and stands on a foot. The outside of the bowl has been textured and coated with special reactive metallic paints to give an aged-iron effect. The inside of the bowl has been left natural to provide a contrast with the outer. The outer is finished with satin lacquer to seal and protect the paint and the inner is finished with Danish Oil and Carnauba wax.
Would make a spectacular fruit bowl and table centrepiece!
